All items are made by me from upcycled fabrics. I will turn a pair of jeans into a bag/cushion cover/skirt/dog coat/purse/embroidered patches. I refashion denim jackets & woolen coats & jackets, making everything totally unique. Using lace, braid, damask, silk, vintage fabrics, embroidery, beads, buttons & charms to give every item a bespoke look & feel. Everything is made with love in my cottage looking out across Bodmin Moor.

Hi, I'm Maryanne, mother of one & grandma of one. Before moving to Cornwall I lived on a narrowboat cruising the canals of England. After 7 years we decided that it was time to move back to dry land. I have sewn since I was a small child, taught by my mother. I started Sewing Seams Easy in 2012, teaching sewing & selling my upcycled/refashioned items from the boat & craft markets, now venturing online! Upcycling/Refashioning clothing in Cornwall
